This work explores sadness through somber tones and lost gazes. I let myself be carried by the process seeking balance, not perfection. What matters is that the artist feels satisfied with what they’ve created, flaws and all. Perfection is not the goal, the opposite is.

This face does not follow the rules of anatomy of tradition. It evolved organically, layer by layer, until it reached its final form. Each detail was added on a different day, with no set timeline or deadline. Like a building, it remained unfinished until the very last touch. The process was its own architecture. Patient, intuitive and complete only when nothing more was needed.
